RS PRO AA Battery Holder, Coil Spring Contact
This RS PRO AA battery holder has a nickel-plated steel coiled spring that presses against the negative cell terminal to make electrical contact. It can hold a single AA cell.
The primary function of a battery holder is to hold cells safely and securely fixed in place while powering a device. It's designed to be either inserted into or attached to battery-operated equipment. This holder comes with two 1.7 mm wide nickel-plated solder lugs, which can be attached to printed circuit boards or other terminals. It also has a pre-drilled 3.4 mm hole on the base, so it can be bolted to a circuit board.
The black polypropylene (PP) holder measures 52.7 mm by 16.4 mm by 14.8 mm. It has a high resistance to chemicals and can be used in industrial environments at temperatures of up to +82°C.
