RS PRO ESD Waste Bin 330 mm x 235 mm x 530 mm
When you need to dispose of waste in your clean room, the RS PRO ESD waste bin provides a safe container. This square-shaped ESD bin is ideal to use in situations where a metal or rubber bin would be unsuitable.
It's made from conductive polypropylene plastic and once grounded it can be used in ESD (electrostatic discharge) protected environments, such as electronics workshops. It has a 40-litre capacity and has two built-in handles, making it easy to lift. Its empty weight is 3 kg and it's suitable for use with bin liners.
The bin comes marked with the ESD symbol, so it's ready for use at your workstation and clean rooms where printed circuit boards, microchips and OLEDs (organic light-emitting diodes) are manufactured. It conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards. It's also RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, meaning it contains toxic substances in concentrations no greater than 0.1%.
