RS PRO Straight 50 Ω RF Adapter SMB Socket to BNC Plug 4 GHz

This radio frequency (RF) adaptor from RS PRO allows for quick and easy conversion from a server message block (SMB) cable to a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) cable. The male-to-male adaptor is suitable for attaching to the BNC socket on a piece of equipment, allowing an SMB coaxial cable with a socket end to be attached to it. The gold-plated contacts ensure a good connection, keeping signal attenuation to a minimum. The small size of this adaptor makes it suitable for use in confined spaces, such as behind a wiring panel.

The adaptor is suitable for frequencies up to 4 GHz, making it suitable for audio signals and standard definition video (PAL or NTSC) as well as 2.4 GHz wireless LAN communications and other radio signals up to the ultra-high frequency (UHF) band. As a stand-alone connector, it is easily fitted with no mounting required.
