RS PRO Compact Power Connector Socket, 2P, 40 A, 500 V DC
Use this miniature power connector from RS PRO in applications where space is limited. It's ideal for hooking up low voltage equipment to a mains supply and is suitable for heaters, lighting and general industrial use.
The small socket has a strong polyamide housing, which has good wear resistance to extend the unit's working life. This plastic stands up well to high temperatures, so it won't melt when exposed to extreme levels of heat. Gold-plated contacts enhance its electrical conductivity to keep the socket in good working order. As gold doesn't corrode, you can be sure the contacts won't rust easily, even when exposed to moisture.
