The Microchip Low-Power Push-Pull Output Comparator incorporate a Power-on-Reset feature that keeps the output high impedance until the supply voltage VDD rises to a sufficient voltage to control the comparator. They also have a low-input offset voltage. These comparators are optimized for low-power, single supply applications with greater than rail to rail input operation. Internal input hysteresis eliminates output switching due to internal input noise voltage, reducing current draw.
