What kind of contactor is this?
This is a double-break pole-type contactor, which allows for the double breaking of the poles using linear translation movement. As it opens the circuit at two separate places, heat dissipates more quickly, enabling the switch to handle higher voltages as well as provide a longer service life than a single-break contactor.
