Renesas Electronics Development Kits

The Renesas Electronics development kit is an S3A1 Synergy™ S3 ARM® Cortex®-M4 MCU 32-bit embedded evaluation board. This TB-S3A1 is designed to help developers get started with initial firmware development and evaluation of the S3A1 MCU group.

Features and Benefits:

• Accelerate code development with the tightly integrated and qualified Synergy software package (SSP)
• Flexible connectivity options with USB and Pmod connector enabling rapid prototyping with plug-in modules
• Human-machine interface (HMI) functionality with a capacitive touch sensing unit, a segment LCD controller and user pushbuttons
• Measure real-time power consumption of current over program execution
• Operate from high precision on-board crystals or lower precision internal clock
• View, step through and debug code with e2 studio ISDE from Renesas or IAR embedded workbench for Renesas Synergy
