Eaton xEffect Series Fuse Holder, 250A Current, 800V Voltage - 183046 XNH1-FCL-A250-BT

This fuse holder is a three-pole NH1 device designed for mounting on DIN rail or a separate mounting plate to provide controlled, manual disconnection and visible fuse monitoring in industrial switchgear. It accommodates NH1 fuse-links and offers front-side actuation with sliding inspection windows for safe voltage checks while installed.

Features & Benefits

• 250A rated uninterrupted current for high-current circuits
• 800V rated insulation for elevated system voltages
• 120 kA conditioned short-circuit capability for fault resilience
• IP20 operational protection to allow safe access in assembled panels
• Halogen-free polyamide construction for reduced smoke and toxicity
• Box terminals accept 35 to 150mm² conductors for large cables

Applications

• Suitable for industrial distribution panels requiring NH1 fuses
• Used for isolating high-current motor feeders in automation systems
• Ideal for replacing ageing 3-pole DIN rail fuse holders in switchgear
• Suitable for factory-floor incoming supplies with visible fuse status
• Used for installations needing box-terminal connections to busbars

What Terminal arrangements are possible for large conductors?

Box terminals accept single conductors up to 150mm² and copper strip options include 30mm x 10mm busbar connections

flange connections accept M10 bolts and cable-lug widths up to 37 mm.

How does it indicate a blown fuse?

The unit incorporates optical signalling to show triggered fuse-links, enabling Rapid Visual identification without removing covers.

What environmental temperature range can it operate within?

It is rated for ambient operation from −25 °C to 55 °C with a maximum permissible component temperature of 70 °C.

Which mechanical mounting orientations are supported?

The device may be installed vertically or horisontally on DIN rail or on a mounting plate as required by panel layout.

What electrical endurance can be expected for mechanical and electrical cycles?

Mechanical endurance is specified at 1,400 operations and electrical endurance at 200 operations under rated conditions.
