Eaton xEffect Series Fuse Holder, 400A Current, 800V Voltage - 183068 XNH2-FCL-S400-BT

This fuse holder is a three-pole device designed to house NH2 fuse-links for use on busbar systems within industrial switchgear. It provides front-access actuation and box Terminal connections for heavy-copper conductors, enabling straightforward installation in panel and busbar arrangements where Visual fuse monitoring is required.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 400A continuous current for high-current circuits
• Insulation withstands up to 800V AC for elevated system voltages
• Conditioned short-circuit rating 120 kA for fault tolerance
• Sliding inspection windows enable safe voltage verification
• Box terminals accept 95 to 300mm² single lugs for large conductors
• IP20 protection in service with IP10/IP2XC states during maintenance

Applications

• Suitable for industrial panel distribution with NH2 fuse-links
• Ideal for integration into 60mm busbar systems in switchgear
• Used with heavy-current feeders in manufacturing plants
• Suitable for front-mounting where Visual fuse indication is needed

What conductor sizes can I terminate at the box terminal?

Single cable lugs from 95mm² up to 300mm² are supported, while stranded cable ranges include 25mm² to 240mm² depending on Terminal configuration.

How does the device indicate a blown fuse?

It provides optical signalling of triggered fuse-links so an operator can identify a blown fuse from the front.

Which mechanical mounting orientations are permitted?

It can be mounted vertically or horisontally on busbars with a 60mm spacing.

What are the operating temperature limits for installation?

The ambient operating range is −25 °C to 55 °C for normal service conditions.
