Eaton Bussmann Series Fuse Holders - Red Spot Fuse Holder Range
This range of Red Spot fuse holders are also known as finger-safe fuse holders, originally created and designed to be used with BS88 fuses. These types of fuse holders will predominantly be found within industrial and commercial environments. The rail mount fuse holders contain fuses that are slotted into sets with metal contacts.

• Each conductor insulating sleeve help to prevent inadvertent contact at the entry point whilst fully shrouded terminals deliver an IP20 rating. (Holding an IP20 rating means that the fuse holder has ingress protection against solid objects up to 12 mm - such as a person's finger and no protection against liquids)
• The parts are moulded, constructed from flame-retardant, non-hygroscopic, high dielectric strength phenolic material
• Red Spot fuse holders range offers a multitude of different accessories and Bussman fuses
• Designed to protect applications from potentially devastating effects of low, short circuits and overvoltage conditions
• Compatible with standard and motor rated fuses
• Taper shank fuse fixing screws ensure easy re-entry
• Large fuse carriers contact areas for low resistance and longer life

What are fuse holders used for?
One of the main functions of a rail mount fuse holder is to offer circuit protection, it is to also offer protection to both the user and the equipment in the event of a circuit overload within any given application.
