RS PRO 10-Way IDC Connector Socket for Cable Mount, 2-Row

This 10-way IDC connector from the RS PRO range offers a quick and easy way to terminate a ribbon cable. Its sharp contact points pierce the wire so you don't need to do any stripping. Suitable for cable mounting, this socket's right-angled orientation enables you to get the most from your space. This type of plug is commonly used in low-voltage applications like computing and telecommunications.

Gold-plated contacts maximise conductivity. The 30% glass-filled polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) housing gives it strength and functions as an excellent insulator. This heat-resistant connector can work up to +105˚C and down to -40˚C. It's voltage rated at 500 V dc and amp rated at 1 A.

The plug's been tested against international standards to ensure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). It contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances (RoHS).
