This light curtain receiver Type 2 300mm is a Compact safety sensor designed for safeguarding machine access points in industrial automation. It operates as a standalone unit or as the last device in cascaded systems, providing optical synchronisation without separate wiring. The device is suited to environments requiring short-range presence detection and integrates with hard-wired control architectures using a 5-pin M12 connection.

The cascade extender cable 701-2974 can be used in conjunction with the 2 x cascade cables to increase the distance between miniTwin if required.
