RS PRO Mylar Plastic Film, 304 mm x 200 mm x 0.05 mm
Use this Mylar plastic film from RS PRO to protect your documents and equipment from damage. It's suitable for use in a range of commercial and industrial environments including packaging plants, printing factories and graphic design offices.
This transparent film is made of Mylar, a stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) material that has reflective properties and high tensile strength. It provides excellent insulation as it forms a barrier against moisture, oil and grease. It's also resistant to water, varnishes and solvents, making it a good choice for harsh industrial environments. The film can withstand high-impact applications as it's tear and puncture-resistant.
The film is highly versatile thanks to its wide operating temperature range of -70°C to +150°C. You'll often find it used for electrical insulation, laminating and general-purpose office tasks.
