Festo Pneumatic Position Detector


The Festo SMT-10G is a 3-wire NPN pneumatic position magnetoresistive proximity sensor, which is fully compatible with all Festo cylinders that have C slots and round cylinders with corresponding mounting kits. Specifically designed for a round slot, the detector is contactless. The SMT series provides a reliable sensing solution in a variety of switching options. Its sturdy central mounting guarantees that the sensor is securely screwed into the slot. Vibration, shock and tensile forces applied to the cable will neither cause the sensor to come loose nor lead to unreliable sensor functioning. Its lateral cable outlet comes with open-end connection.
