The dynamic load tool or active load tool is designed for testing power supplies and other forms/sources of electrical power. It provides accurate output references to confirm that the output voltage and current are within their required range of predetermined load ranges and conditions, from no load to maximum load.

DC load bias up to 40A + 100A transient loads
Load frequency adjustable via external function generator 1Hz to ∼ 1Mhz (slew rate dependent)
