RS PRO Access Control Door Magnet, 1670 N Holding Force, 240 V AC


Choose this door magnet from RS PRO to improve the security of your buildings, warehouses and offices. It can be connected to an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system or numeric lock mechanism to remotely open and close doors and gates on your premises. When the magnet is de-energised it has a holding force of 1670 Newtons (N), which means your doors will remain firmly shut, even if kicked or pushed. This makes it ideal for restricting access to private property and deterring theft.

The magnet's face is nickel-plated, so you can install it both indoors and outdoors as it has good resistance against rust and corrosion. The unit is rigorously tested for quality and reliability. It also has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP54 so it can withstand some dust and water spray.
