This space-saving, cost-effective safety switch is specifically designed for use with smaller machinery such as printers, copiers, and domestic machinery due to its unique miniature housing. It is the smallest in the industry at only 75mm x 25mm x 29mm. This switch is operated by inserting a specially profiled key, which is permanently fixed to the door. It features a rotatable head with 2 entry slots, and can provide up to 8 different actuator entry positions.

The 440K-E33036 Elf safety switch has M16 conduit entry and a flat type actuator made of robust stainless-steel. It has break-before-make action. The contacts are 1NC safety, 1NO auxiliary. This switch has a high environmental protection rating of IP67. This ensures that it is perfectly suited for use in wet environments as it can withstand regular washdowns, and it is also protected against ingress of dust. The housing is made of resilient UL approved glass-filled PBT, which is red for greater visibility of the unit. It has a voltage rating of 600VAC/DC.

The Elf interlock switches are suitable for use on the leading edge of lift-off, hinged, and sliding machine guard doors. This unit comes with a blanking plug to seal the unused entry slot.
