The dual-functioning beacons have an electrical light source using LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) for longer life and maintenance-free design to ensure time is spent on the things that really matter to keep your industry moving. Built in to these units, there is also a sounder unit that can emit a loud audible warning to ensure the warning or signal is seen, as well as heard clearly. Light and sounder beacons are versatile devices that are most commonly used to indicate various states of operation for a device or installation. They are multifunctional visual and audible signalling units that can indicate start, stop, fault signalling or call technical staff to quickly and easily signal when there is a problem or call to action which is especially important when visible signals can’t be seen in busy manufacturing or industrial environments. Light and sounder beacons are a way of achieving maximum safety using bright lighting and high-frequency sound and can be used in combination with different colours or light modes, like flashing, rotating or steady, and high and low frequency to ensure the correct warning or signal message comes across. Beacon sounder combinations come with different tones incorporating high frequencies, low frequencies and industry-standard frequency patterns. They have different coloured lenses to give an enhanced warning signal. Some beacon sounder combinations are equipped with volume control and tuneable features and have options available to be used in both indoor and outdoor environments.
