    Looking for more sophisticated temperature control? This panel-mount PID controller (proportional integral derivative) from the RS PRO range uses a precise control loop mechanism to keep equipment temperatures stable.

    Standard controllers perform a binary switching function (on/off), which can lead to overshoots and lag in process temperatures. PID controllers use feedback from a thermocouple instead, which keeps process temperatures consistent as the user setpoint.

    This temperature controller is very easy to program and use. It has a large, clear LED display, a quick set-up menu and a simple three-button operation. A sturdy panel-mount provides versatile mounting possibilities and space-saving benefits.

    As they're extremely effective at responding to sudden fluctuations, PID temperature controllers are widely used in all manner of industries. Built to IP20 and IP65 standards, this product is also RoHS-compliant, which means that it's protected against hazardous materials.
