RS PRO 120 Ω Carbon Film Resistor 0.5 W ±5%

This RS PRO resistor controls the flow of an electrical current through a circuit, primarily in high-frequency applications. It's comprised of carbon film which is non-inductive and coated in a ceramic substrate that makes it a good insulator against heat and electricity.

The carbon film is overlaid with an epoxy resin that protects the resistor from deterioration and impact damage. The unit's solder-plated copper leads fit into through-holes on your device for easy installation.

This resistor meets the requirements of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 115 and IEC 115-2 to ensure a high level of resistance stability. Carbon film resistors are useful in regulating current in devices such as transistors, capacitors and digital logic circuits.
