Introducing two part ABS enclosures from our trusted and reliable own brand RS PRO, a range of high quality enclosures including an ABS moulded base and lid. These lightweight yet durable enclosures are moulded with ABS plastic, providing shock absorbent and scratch resistant properties. The boxes include internal grooves to allow easy installation of PCB (printed circuit boards) and cards both horizontally and vertically. The lid can be secured to the base via screws, providing excellent protection of internal components.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a low cost type of thermoplastic polymer that is highly durable and features a high resistance to chemical corrosion in its solid state. It has a low melting point allowing it to be molded and shaped accordingly, making it a very versatile material. ABS plastic also features scratch resistance, high shock absorbance and high tensile strength.
