The Phoenix Contact FO converter, featuring integrated optical diagnostics and a coated PCB, is designed for PROFIBUS communication at speeds up to 12 Mbps. It functions as a T-coupler and includes two FO interfaces (BFOC) operating at 850 nm. Compatible with PCF or Fiberglass cables (multimode), this converter facilitates reliable communication between Fiber optic and PROFIBUS interfaces in industrial settings. Additionally, it includes an alarm contact for enhanced monitoring and control capabilities.
