RS PRO Crimp Die Set, Terminal
This crimp die set from RS PRO can be used to crimp heavy-duty terminals onto aluminium and copper cables with a maximum cross-sectional area of 25 mm². The dies are designed for use with Hydraulic Hand Crimping Tool (445-885) from RS PRO. They use hydraulic action to generate the necessary force for crimping, so there's no need for a power supply. You can store these dies in a designated compartment in the carry case supplied with RS PRO's crimping tool, keeping your dies protected and organised when not in use.
The dies comply with electrostatic control standards in the United States (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and Europe (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007), ensuring that they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. You can use this die set in panel building, telecom systems and utility services to crimp heavy-duty cable terminals onto stranded and flexible cables.
