Users of Tektronix MDO3000 Series oscilloscopes can add functionality by purchasing instrument upgrades after the initial scope purchase. Instrument upgrade MDO3AFG adds an arbitrary function generator to any to any MDO3000 Series oscilloscope, enabled through a single-use application module hardware key. The hardware key is used to enable the feature and then is not required for future use.
