The ifm electronic Inductive sensor with metal thread M18 x 1 offers an increased switching distance of 8 mm and can be installed flush. It is equipped with a connection cable and plug connection and works with an operating voltage of 10 to 30 V DC. The sensor is available in both DC PNP and NPN versions and protects against reverse polarity and short circuits. Its outputs are normally open, with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 V, a minimum load current of 2 mA, and a current carrying capacity of up to 100 mA. The sensor also offers protection against overload and meets protection class III.
