Allen Bradley Guardmaster 440K-T11171 Trojan 6 Safety Interlock Switch
Experience highly secure guard interlocking for machinery and protect personnel from entering dangerous areas with the Trojan 6 Safety Interlock Switch by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. This tongue interlock switch features dual entry slots and the head can be rotated, providing 4 actuator entry positions for greater application flexibility. The head is movable only by releasing the cover screws.
The 440K-T11171 Trojan 6 Safety Interlock Switch has 3NC safety contacts, 1NO auxiliary contact. It has break-before-make action and M20 conduit entry. It comes with a standard type actuator made of tough stainless-steel to provide a longer service-life. The housing is made of durable UL approved glass-filled polyester, which is red for improved visibility. It is also environmentally sealed to IP67, ensuring that it is fully protected against ingress of dust and can withstand regular washdowns. This reliable safety switch is designed specifically to be fitted at the leading edge of hinged, sliding and lift-off machine guards.
How does it work?
The Trojan 6 switch is operated by inserting a specially profiled key, which is permanently fixed to the door. It incorporates a self-ejecting mechanism which prevents use of the switch if the actuator is not mounted to the door, ensuring greater security. The 440K Trojan 6 interlock units provide cost-efficient and safe electrical interlocking of the guard to the control circuit of the machine.
