Remote unit of the PHOTOVOLTAIC TESTER FTV500


The remote unit of the FTV500 photovoltaic tester (274-1323) collects readings of environmental parameters (irradiation, ambient/module temperature) in real time and then uses them to analyse the results. Using WiFi technology, the remote unit transmits data to the instrument from up to 200 m away in an open field and, if the transmission signal is interrupted, it allows the instrument to function as a data logger, storing the acquired measurements before resynchronising them and transmitting them back to the instrument when conditions return to normal. A patented mounting system offers installation stability and measurement reliability.
